As a parent who has always attended and worked in big schools,

 I have a real passion and love for the quality of education and the educational experience of our small, rural school.

 

To me, our school is like a real gemstone in a pile of shiny rocks and

 like a ‘piece of paradise’ in a big world. I love sending my children to Dooralong Public School for many reasons. I feel that academically

 they will achieve their very best due to the hardworking,

caring teachers and the low teacher to student ratio.

 

I love the tranquillity of the school environment, the fact that each

child has their own computer, the family atmosphere, the personalised relationship environment and the participation in environmental

projects around the school.

 

My youngest has just completed Kindergarten and I feel his

understanding of the world is superior to a child in a regular

 Kindergarten class, due to the multi-age peer classroom.

 

There is nowhere I would rather my children be.
