Dooralong Public School is a community centered school which prides itself on encouraging all students to achieve their personal best. We work together, staff, parents and children, to strive for success in wide ranging curricula. There is strong emphasis on the basics, a wide variety of sporting pursuits and creative and practical arts experiences and performances. The support of parents and the community is highly valued. Dooralong Public School has a Teaching Principal  K - 6 . 

A  Teacher / Librarian , STLA staff , a  Technology Teacher, and a full time School Administration Manager.

Dooralong Public School is located in the beautiful and historic Dooralong Valley. Located  just 15mins  west of the township of Wyong on the Central Coast of NSW.     

Our school uniform  is representative of our commitment to our local community and environment. The parents and students worked  collaboratively to compile a uniform that students of Dooralong Public School wear with pride.

For new kinder enrolments please feel free to drop in, have a look around our beautiful school,  and collect our enrolment package or phone us to have a package sent out to you .You will need to supply documents of identification ie. Full birth certificate  before your child may be enrolled. Please call us and find out about our kinder orientation program that operates 1 day per week during November and December.

If you are a student/ family  transferring  from another school, please obtain a ‘Ghosted Enrolment form’ from your  current school’s administration and bring this in on your interview day.

Dooralong Public School and our community are committed to providing a    safe and secure environment, promoting personal growth and excellence by developing confidence and self  esteem. We have in place an anti-bullying program indicative of the seriousness of this behaviour.

Dooralong Public School in collaboration with our  community have developed a Fair Discipline Code. This code outlines procedures for dealing with desirable and undesirable behaviour. If a child is involved in behaviour which is disruptive or dangerous to other students, then the parents will be notified in writing or in extreme cases by phone. At Dooralong we promote good behaviour and students are rewarded in a variety of ways.
